Off County Road 38, north of Currie The park contains the largest lake in southwestern Minnesota, which forms the headwaters of the Des Moines River. Expect great fishing for walleye, northern, crappie, and bullheads. Loon Island, a 45-acre island on Lake Shetek.

End-O-Line Railroad Park and Museum is a twelve-acre historic site that features over thirteen historic buildings and structures dedicated to preserving and interpreting the early history of Currie, the Shetek area, and its 20th Century railroad history.
